Female Empowerment Program

We are working with the Time + Tide Foundation in Mfuwe (a rural town, located in Eastern Province about 435 miles from Lusaka). Here, there is a dire need for Sanitary Products. Due to cultural factors and prevailing embarrassment around menstruation, most girls remain at home and do not attend school. Our aim is to provide the girls with sanitary products so that they are able to consistently attend school and participate in school activities. We have created a one-on-one education program for girls, who come from poor families and are based in rural areas.
